Jefferson Community Foundation: Development Director
Jefferson Community Foundation is seeking a collaborative and strategic fundraising professional to join our team as Development Director.
As the Development Director, you will work closely with the CEO and board to cultivate and manage relationships with donors. You will use storytelling and fundraising skills to share our compelling case for support and effectively engage and solicit individual and foundation donors. You will be pivotal in our capacity building for significant growth by bolstering our internal development systems and by planning for an expanded development team. And, as a member of our dedicated team and part of the broader JCF community, you will be working towards meaningful, systemic change that will improve the lives of everyone who calls Jefferson County home.
Jefferson Community Foundation (JCF) is an innovative and thriving community foundation that serves Jefferson County, a community of small towns on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. At JCF, our goal is to help people become effective changemakers who know how to make a tangible impact on the community issues they care about most. By working on an integrated systems level across seemingly different neighborhoods and issues, JCF is moving the needle on the biggest challenges facing our community, including housing, jobs, education, health care, environmental protection, and more. After a record-breaking fundraising year in 2024, we are eager to build on our momentum and grow our team, so that we can welcome more people into our changemaking network and have an even greater impact on our community.

Starting salary range: $90,000-$105,000/yr DOE; full-time, exempt position
