Update: Filled! EDC Team Jefferson: RFP for Internal Operational Systems Evaluation and Training
Background
EDC Team Jefferson (EDCTJ), organized as a private nonprofit in 2011, is the designated Associate Development Organization (ADO) for Jefferson County WA. As an ADO, EDC Team Jefferson is engaged in business retention, expansion and attraction activities to meet the needs of local small businesses, sources and provides economic data useful to the community, and convenes stakeholders. EDCTJ works with public partners to execute on the economic strategy by providing business services, supporting networks and managing programs. The organization has a staff of three and a Board Finance Committee with four members.
Project Goals and Scope of Service: Internal Systems review and training
1. EDC Team Jefferson seeks a vendor to complete an accounting conversion and systems update by;
• Providing a final assessment by reviewing Quickbooks set up, Class Accounting system and payroll through ADP
• Train staff in QB accounting system
• Support decision making about the level of bookkeeping done in house and the accounting performed by an external nonprofit accounting firm
2. Internal systems assessment
3. Proposal for improvement
4. Recommend a suitable CRM, initiate its purchase and use
5. Recommend a Document Retention Policy.
Schedule
The vendor will be selected by mid-November and work is to be performed before the end of 2022.
